This is an HDMI Female to DVI-I Male Adapter (or converter). This handy accessory has a circuitry inside that converts from DVI-A / DVI-D, DVI-I on your Computer's or Laptop's display output, to a display that has HDMI for the input. In rare cases, you will need to change the video settings first and then reboot with the new display plugged into the adapter. In any case, it is Plug'n'Play !
If you have a computer or tablet or device with HDMI output but you want to connect it to a projector, monitor or display with DVI input, you have come to the right place! This nifty adapter has a classic HDMI female connector at one end and at the other end a 29-pin Dual-Link DVI-I Digital Visual Interface connector.
We found the display output to be asolutely crisp and vivid.
