The UNI-T UT387S wall scanner is the top of the UT387 line: a behind-wall detector that finds ferrous metal to 100 mm, non-ferrous metal to 80 mm, wood to 38 mm and live AC wiring to 40 mm — then adds a 40 m laser distance meter and a wood-moisture reading from 6% to 40% in the same tool.
Results appear on a 2.4-inch colour screen with voice broadcast, so you get a spoken confirmation while your eyes stay on the wall. For renovation work, carpentry and site surveys, it replaces a stud finder, a laser measure and a moisture meter in one rechargeable 161 g unit.
