  2. USB Cable: To connect fan into usb port or 5v USB  adapter
  3. USB Power Supply: The fan will run on USB power.
  4. PVC Electrical Insulation Tape: Use it to secure connections.
  5. Plato 170 DIY Electronic Diagonal Side Pocket Cutting Pliers: Handy for wire cutting.

Instructions:

  1. Disassemble the Fan:

    • Take apart the old CPU fan, ensuring that the motor is still functional.
    • Remove the existing fan blades from the motor assembly.
  2. Wire Connections:

    • Cut the Android Cable and peel the cables using Plato Cutter
    • Peel the fan wires
    • twist the wire of fan into android cable. Red wire should connect to red and black into black of fan.
    • Secure the connections using PVC electrical insulation tape
  3. Test Your DIY Desk Fan:

    • Plug the USB cable into a USB port or power adapter.
    • Power up, and your homemade desk fan should start spinning!

Tips:

  • Confirm that the fan draws fewer amps than your USB plug can supply.
