The UNI-T UT371 non-contact tachometer measures rotation speed optically — stick the supplied reflective tape on the shaft, aim from 50 to 200 mm away and read RPM from 10 up to 99,999 with ±(0.04%+2) accuracy. Nothing touches the moving part, so you can measure loaded machinery safely.
A counting mode totals up to 99,999 events with a 10kHz maximum input frequency, and MAX/MIN/AVG modes capture how speed varies over a run. At 100 g it lives in a toolbag — well suited to motor maintenance, fan and pump commissioning, and workshop QA.
Key Features
- Non-contact photo RPM 10~99,999 ⚡ — optical measurement with no load on the shaft.
- ±(0.04%+2) accuracy ✅ — and ±0.03% on the 10~99 RPM range for slow rotation.
- 50–200 mm target distance 📏 — measure from a safe standoff using reflective tape.
- Counting mode 🔧 — totals 0~99,999 events, 10kHz maximum input frequency, 5% bandwidth.
- MAX/MIN/AVG modes ✅ — track speed variation across a test run.
- 100,000-count display 🔋 — with data hold and low-battery indication.
- Pocketable 100 g body 📏 — 184 × 56 × 34 mm, runs on 4 × AA batteries.
- Auto power-off 🔋 — around 15 minutes to preserve battery life.
