The UT197 is a rugged, high-precision handheld multimeter built for demanding industrial environments. With a 600,000-count display and True RMS measurement, it delivers accurate readings even on distorted or noisy waveforms — making it a reliable choice for professionals working in power construction, equipment maintenance, petrochemical, HVAC, new-energy, and factory or lab settings.

Built to IP67 standards and rated for drops of up to 5 meters, this meter shrugs off dust, water, and rough handling. It operates reliably across a wide -40°C to 55°C temperature range, so it's just as much at home outdoors on a job site as it is on a bench. A built-in VFD anti-interference startup mode filters out carrier-frequency and distorted-voltage noise, giving you stable readings even when measuring near variable frequency drives.
