The Pro'sKit MT-7615 is a pocket-sized fiber optical power meter that puts four field instruments into one rechargeable handheld: an InGaAs optical power meter covering 8 calibrated wavelengths, a 15 mW red-laser visual fault locator, an RJ45 LAN cable tester with a detachable remote, and an LED work light. FTTH installers, ISP and cable-operator technicians and network engineers can commission a link, hunt a break and map a patch lead without carrying three separate testers.
Optical power reads from -70 dBm to +10 dBm with 0.01 dB resolution in dB, dBm, nW, uW or mW, with Wave ID, wavelength memory, REF (relative) measurement and 500 groups of on-board data storage. The 3.7 V lithium battery charges over Micro-USB and runs for more than 50 hours in power-meter mode, so a full working week between charges is normal.
