Description

The GBU406 is a single-phase glass passivated bridge rectifier, rated for 4A average output current and 600V peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM), housed in the compact 4-pin GBU through-hole package. It integrates four rectifier diodes in a bridge configuration on a single glass-passivated die, converting AC input into full-wave rectified DC output.

Clearly marked terminals (AC, AC, +, −) make wiring straightforward: the two "AC" pins accept the AC input, while the "+" and "−" pins provide the rectified DC output. With a forward voltage drop of around 1.0–1.1V at rated current and a high surge current capability of up to 150A (IFSM), this rectifier reliably handles inrush current spikes. It's built with a lead-free finish and is RoHS compliant, and carries UL recognition (File No. E94661) for added confidence in safety and build quality.
